The person who was driving the car was a minor, police informed.
The injured Prashila Prashant Harmalkar (39), Prashant Harmalkar (37), Prathamesh Harmalkar (5) and Pradesh Harmalkar (3), all from Dhanva, Tivim, were shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim.
The accident took place at around 5.30 pm opposite the Liza Bar and Restaurant at Sirsaim.
According to police, the Swift car driven by a 17-year-old boy was speeding from Assonora to Mapusa. On reaching near the Liza Bar and Restaurant, the driver lost control and first hit a parked car to the right of the road belonging to the owner of the Liza Bar and then swerved and knocked down the two-wheeler which moving in the opposite direction.
With the impact, the two-wheeler rider along with his wife and two kids were thrown off the bike by the side of the road and suffered serious injuries.
Couple, two kids injured in mishap at Sirsaim
A husband-wife duo along with their two little kids on a two-wheeler were seriously injured after a speeding car first hit a car parked by the side of the road and then hit the two-wheeler at Sirsaim on Sunday evening.
