Court directs Nunes to report to Anjuna police within two days

MAPUSA
The Aditional Sessions court has directed Edwin Nunes owner of Curlies to appear before Anjuna police within two days after he failed to adhere to the bail conditions in the Sonali Phogat case. Anjuna Police had moved for cancellation of his bail.

While hearing the case, the court asked Nunes to report to the police within two days or else the court would pass an appropriate order in the matter.

It may be recalled, a Mapusa court had granted conditional bail to Nunes in September with strict conditions one of which was to report to Anjuna police when required.

Nunes was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) in the Sonali Phogat murder case along with two others.
