VASCO:
Admitting that people had behaved indifferently towards him when he had tested positive for Covid, Vasco Parish Priest Fr Gabriel Coutinho said the sickness had been a life-changing experience.
Fr Coutinho was addressing a workshop on "stress management" organised by the PTA of MES Higher Secondary School, Zuarinagar, given a surge in stress levels among teachers who have been working to conduct virtual classes amid the pandemic.
Sharing his experience after having recovered from Covid, Fr Coutinho spoke about his life-changing experience after he witnessed people behaving indifferently towards him.
“Despite this, I built self-confidence and had faith that I would recover. It is important to stop being worried and fearful about Covid issues, as it can only add an increase in stress levels.
People have to be confident and compassionate towards each other to live life better and stress-free by changing their perspective towards life and being more humane towards each other,” said Fr
Coutinho.
