The traditional crowning of the life-sized statue of Our Lady of Fatima in the courtyard of Mâe de Deus Chapel at Gaunsavaddo-Siolim will be held on May 1 at 5 pm.
On the occasion, a young maiden from the Vaddo is chosen to crown the statue - usually a prospective bride. This year, Joana Fernandes will do the honours of crowning Mother Mary's statue. Dr Fr Ramiro Luis will be the main celebrant at the Eucharist, along with the Chaplain Fr Sebastian SSS.
