CURCHOREM: Quepem and Sanguem talukas were unaffected by the all India bandh call given by various trade unions on Friday.

Government offices, schools and other public services in Quepem, Curchorem and Sanguem functioned as usual. Public transport and private buses also operated. As Ganesh Chaturthi is at the doorstep, people were seen doing their festive shopping in Curchorem town bazaar.

THE GOAN NETWORKPANAJI The Goa Cabinet, which met on Friday approved an amendment to the Goa Daman and Diu Land Revenue Code which will now initiate a mutation no sooner a sale deed is complete.
