Sanjana Sudesh Naik was elected unopposed as the Sarpanch of Curti Khandepar Panchayat on Monday. There were six panch members in the meeting. This is the second time in the past nine months that locals are seeing a new Sarpanch.
After the no confidence motion against Naved Tahasildar was passed and Naik was chosen as the Sarpanch in the presence of deputy sarpanch Wilma Pereira and others. Six members had proposed the vote of no confidence.
