Curtorim man held with suspected ganja

The Margao police on Sunday arrested a man from Curtorim after he was allegedly found with 504 grams of dried greenish plant tops, suspected to be Ganja.

The seized substance is estimated to be worth around Rs 50,400.

Based on a tip-off, a team from the Margao police went to Malbhat and caught the accused, identified as Melroy Ricardo from Curtorim. An FIR has been registered against him under Section 20(b)(ii)(A) of the NDPS Act, 1985.
