Datta Naik, Konkani Bhasha Mandal bury the hatchet Konkani Bhasha Mandal president Serafino Cota welcoming writer Datta Damodar Naik at the KBM for a meeting held to resolve their differences.

Entrepreneur and writer Datta Damodar Naik has withdrawn his resignation from the primary membership of the Konkani Bhasha Mandal.
Naik withdrew his resignation letter after a meeting chaired by KBM President Serafino Cota, wherein it was decided to settle their differences.
The meeting took place at the KBM after Naik was welcomed by President Cota and other members. The duo later cut a cake in the presence of other members, indicating that they had decided to “forgive and forget”.
As far as his decision not to give the KBM the balance amount of the Rs 1 crore donation is concerned, Naik said his son Chirag will decide whether to resume the donation. A decision to this effect is expected by the weekend.
