The gram sabha of the Village Panchayat of Davorlim on Sunday gave approval for the budget estimates for the financial year 2025-26.
The meeting chaired by deputy sarpanch Vidhadar Arlekar saw the members making a strong case to allot funds for the development of the Scheduled Tribes community.
The meeting also discussed the issue of sewerage with members demanding to know the status of the sewerage project.
With the village roads dug up for various project, including laying of gas pipeline, the deputy sarpanch stated that the panchayat would take up with the Navelim MLA for the repairs and restoration of the excavated roads.
