Davorlim resident Irshad Mangalwad, a native of Karnataka, has complained to Maina-Curtorim police that an unknown person broke open the lock of his rented room and stole a gold necklace, an elevator lift material, a Wi-Fi router and
a laptop.
The exact value of the stolen items is not known.
He also alleged that the accused stole his TVS Ntorq scooter, worth around Rs 1 lakh, which was parked in an open parking area beside the rented room.
Police have registered a case under Sections 331(1), 331(2), 331(3), 331(4), 303(2), 305 and 332(c) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
