A body of a 40-year-old man was found floating in the Baga river on Tuesday morning, Calangute police said.
The body which was found floating in Baga river near the beach was fished out and a FIR under unnatural death was registered by the police.
Police informed that the deceased was working as a casual labourer at Baga beach.
Calangute police conducted the panchanama and sent the body to the morgue of Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
Sources said police are making efforts to trace the family members and relatives of the deceased.
