Continuing its endeavour towards excellence and with the purpose of offering the best health services, Deccan Medical Centre at the Goods Shed road in Belagavi has installed a new and hi-tech ultrasound machine.
The machine was installed in a simple ceremony at the hospital. Medical Director and CEO Dr Ramesh Doddannavar, Director Dr Mrs Savitri Doddannavar, Administrative officer Santosh Kamble and Mr Rahul Joshi, Service Engineer of Affinity services were present.
Giving details about the machine, Dr Savitri Doddannavar said the machine will now enable the doctors in diagnosing the ailments of the patient more accurately and faster.
Dr Ramesh Doddannavar said the machine will give paediatric echoes, which is rare in the city.
“The machine has 21.5” LCD display with four-way articulation. Control panel gracefully divided with touch screen and keyboard to give modern touch and will give excellent image quality and superb color pickup for doppler studies.”
“A unique feature of the Affiniti 70 is that it offers Shear Wave. As a shared service ultrasound machine, the Affiniti 70 excels at cardiology as well as women’s health, vascular and radiology ultrasound applications, Dr Doddnnavar said.
