Addressing the media, she accused the Delhi government headed by Arvind Kejriwal on their failure to fulfill the promises made to the people of Delhi. “The AAP government has failed to take care of women’s safety and security. Has the Delhi government has fulfilled the promise to come out with the Suraksha buttons. Had the government put in place the women commandos to beef up security of women in the national capital,” she asked, adding that the Delhi government has spent a whopping Rs 180 crore on image makeover instead of spending the tax payers money on the welfare of the common man.
“We are not afraid of the Aam Aadmi Party’s presence in Goa. We are only alerting the people of Goa to think twice before making the choice. We have suffered at the hands of the AAP government in Delhi and we do not want a similar fate await Goans,” Amruta said.
Saying that the Delhi is in a chaotic situation due to misrule by the AAP government, Amruta said the Delhi has government has no action plan when the national capital is hit by pollution.
She also took potshots at the BJP-led government ruling the state, demanding to know whether the government has been able to fulfill the promise to solve the unemployment problem. “Instead of providing jobs to the unemployed, this government is giving them SIM cards. This is nothing but an election gimmick to lure the students on their side on the eve of election,” she said.
