S.S. Dempo college of Commerce and Economics recently organised a cultural evening of its alumni on the occasion of the college golden jubilee. On this occasion, the college released a special souvenir at the hands of Neela Dempo.
The host of the evening was singer Abhijit Ghoshal, winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, who welcomed the alumni and enthralled the audience with his performance. Film actress Varsha Usgaonkar and Prof. Praveen Gaonkar also performed at the event. At the onset, a photo gallery was inaugurated at Kala Academy depicting the fifty years of the college. A photo shop was also established in the lawns of Kala Academy. The function ended with the grand dinner for the alumni.
