The fact finding team demands an impartial investigation into the crimes,” the team had said in a statement. rrLashes out at Cong over FPPCA chargesrPanaji: BJP spokesperson Nilesh Cabral on Monday hit out at the Congress for protesting against Fuel Power Purchase & Cost Adjustment (FPPCA) charges and alleged that the charges in Congress-ruled states were much higher than they were in Goa. rAddressing the press in response to the Congress protest, Cabral said that the party should instead impress upon states, where it is ruling, to slash the charges. rCabral pointed out that while in Goa the charges are `1.30 per unit for units between 0 and 100 in Karnataka they were `2.70 from 0-30 units while `4 for units between 31 and 100. “Similarly, in Punjab it is between `4.50 to `6.50,” Cabral said. “These FPPCA charges are nothing new, they have been there since 2011,” Cabral said, adding that the Congress instead of making statements should “correct their own states first.”
