the goan I networkrQUEPEM rrAccording to police sources, a police team took Pereira to Sanguem, Quepem, Cuncolim, Maina-Curtorim and some parts of Verna, where he claimed to have desecrated religious structures in those places. rIncidentally, police were unaware of many of those places identified by Pereira. rWhile explaining to the police team how he had desecrated the crosses, Pereira also offered to show them some more desecration sites on Tuesday. rIn addition to earlier offences, police have also added Section 153 IPC on charges of promoting enmity between religious groups.

Francis Pereira, the prime accused in the desecration of several religious structures in Salcete and Quepem talukas, on Monday, reportedly identified 75 places where he had desecrated crosses.
