It may be recalled that Dhavalikar on Sunday had announced that the State govt was firm in going ahead with the STP at Undir Bandora and may not roll back decision.
Unhappy over his determination to push ahead with the project, a section of locals on Tuesday evening convened a meeting and challenged Dhavalikar to prove his majority in the village if he claims that all were with him over this issue.
“Nobody is with Dhavalikar on this issue. We all are united. Even our panch member Bhaskar Naik is with us,” said Gurudas Naik at the meeting.
Responding to Dhavalikar’s Naik added: “This is a big scam by the sewerage department and we demand an enquiry in this matter.
