Dhawale elevated as secretary of MPT — Captured by : Dhawale elevated as secretary of Mormugao Port Trust

VASCO: Jaiwant Bhimrao Dhawale, senior deputy secretary at MPT, has been elevated as secretary of Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) by the Ministry of Shipping.

Dhawale first joined MPT as a labour officer in 1994. He was then appointed as deputy secretary (industrial relations) in 2000, where he served for 11 years, before being appointed as the senior deputy secretary for three years.

Dhawale completed his Masters of Industrial Relations and Personal Management and pursued his Masters in Commerce at Amravati University, Maharashtra.

PONDA: Ponda Taluka Legal Services Committee recently conducted an awareness programme on 'protection of women from domestic violence' at Curti-Ponda.
