Disappearance of corpse from grave: CBI probe urged

The Popular Front of India has urged the Chief Secretary to order a CBI enquiry into the Sakhali grave issue to ensure speedy investigations and nail the culprits involved in the incident and to stop further “Dead body recoveries” from the graveyards of Goa.

PFI Presidnet Sayed Iftiyaz requested the Chief Secretary to look into the mater on an urgent basis and help the family get justice and the minority community relief from the fear of “Dead body recoveries from the Mazania Misquit Babal Peer Qabrastan, Sakhali and also from all Kabrastans of Goa.   
Iftiyaz said fears are expressed in many quarters that this may not be an exceptional case and there may be more robberies of dead bodies from the graveyard over a period of time without knowledge of citizens/authorities concerned.
