MARGAO
The Director of Municipal Administration Dr Tariq Thomas has cancelled and revoked a part occupancy certificate issued to a party a year ago by the Margao council.
Partly allowing an appeal filed by a resident of Margao Shirish Kanat, the DMA has directed the respondent Margao Municipal Council to ensure conformity with the rules and regulations while processing permissions and or completion certificates issued by the SGPDA and after strictly complying with all legal requirements and ascertaining that the building is constructed as per the approved plan, may issue fresh occupancy to the party.
The DMA has further appealed the party to comply with all the rules and regulations in force.
