MARGAO: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was conspicuous by his absence at the Multipurpose ground, Borda on Sunday, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only remembered him but urged party workers to draw inspiration from the way Parrikar has been working despite illness.
Before addressing the South Goa party booth workers via video-conferencing, the Prime Minister recalled his friendship with Parrikar, terming him as his close friend, while praying for his recovery. Impressed by the way Parrikar has been working despite ill health, the Prime Minister said “party workers should draw inspiration from the way the Chief Minister has been working despite ill health” and wished him speedy recovery. >> See pg 2
