A truck driver Zebla Afzal Khan Pathan (50, Bicholim) died early this morning following a severe heart attack at Khandepar bridge.
The deceased was travelling from Bicholim to Ponda when he suddenly fell ill, following which he stopped the vehicle to avert any mishap. The 108 ambulance rushed driver Zebla to the nearest hospital where he was declared brought dead.
