Women doctors wing of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Bicholim branch in association with Lions Club of Bicholim held an educational talk on menstruation, its physiology, hygiene, nutrition, and safe disposal of sanitary napkins on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
It was inaugurated by Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar in the presence of Dr Medha Salkar, President of women doctor wing, IMA Bicholim and kaustubh Sanzgiri. Sinami Shetye, a Goan woman entrepreneur was felicitated on the occasion for promotion of HY-FEMME sanitary napkins. Some members of local self-help groups and around 50 students from various colleges of Bicholim attended
the talk.
