Eight lithium batteries and one alternator were stolen from a tower at Bhatpal in Canacona.
According to the complaint filed by one Sagar Desai of Tiswadi, the alleged theft occurred between June 21 and July 6 from an open place at Bhatpal. The cost of the batteries is estimated at Rs 63,000.
The complaint is registered under 303 (2) of BNS and further investigation is carried out by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona police station.
