Executive Engineer of Goa University Amit Shrivastava was caught red handed by the Anti Corruption Bureau while accepting bribe of ₹50,000 near the Main gate of Ocean Park Residential Complex, Dona Paula.
Based on the complain filed by Gopi Peket, the accused allegedly demanded a bribe of 5 percent of the monthly bill amount submitted by the M/s Panorama Enterprises from the owner Hema Sundar Reddy.
After the complaint was filed the officials of ACB laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed accepting bribe. Further investigations are on.
