CANACONA:
A man and his son were injured as two bikes collided with each other at Khalwade-Canacona.
According to Canacona police, Jose Barretto of Poinguinim rode a scooter in a rash and negligent manner, while proceeding from Chaudi towards Shristhal.
On reaching near Chicken Centre (Khalwade), Barretto’s scooter collided with an oncoming motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider Ulhas Parwar of Khalwade-Canacona and his son, Sanjay, who was the pillion rider, both fell off the motorcycle. Ulhas sustained grievous injuries, while Sanjay sustained minor injuries.
Acting on the complaint of Ulhas Parwar, Canacona police registered an offence against Jose Barretto under Sections 281, 125(b) 125(a) of BNS 2023 and Canacona police is conducting further investigation.
