Goa started their 2015 Hero Indian Super League (HISL) with a clear intent of winning the title with a convincing two goal victory over Delhi Dynamos. They had the crowds in raptures as early as the fourth minute when Romeo Fernandes fed Mandar Rao Desai with an easy ball in front of a near open goal. Officially it was declared as a Souvik Chakraborty own goal. The early goal left the fans delirious.

he second half buttressed Zico’s ability to choose what the public want to see. Unlike Delhi Dynamos, FC Goa was composed of fresh legs that demonstrated the purpose of training before the bells begin to toll.
It was also a test of tactical skills between two football greats. Zico versus Roberto Carlos. The former proved his supremacy as he went about his job with near perfection.
FC Goa lined-up in a 4-3-3 formation with Reinaldo, Mandar Dessai and Romeo Fernandes forming the attacking trident. Delhi Dynamos opted for a lone frontman in Richard Gradzie while Florent Malouda was slotted into the central midfield.
