Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (FiiRE) inaugurated two new spaces “FiiREWork” their co-working space and “Design Centre” the Gaming and Design lab sponsored by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Goa (ONGC).
“FiiREWork”, located on the premises of FiiRE, Don Bosco Fatorda, was inaugurated at the hands of Chairman of Goa Public Service Commission & Goa State Innovation Council Jose Manuel Noronha. The guests of honour included Dr Levinson Martins Director, Department of Science and Technology & Waste Management, H P Pradeep and Dayanand Kalandia, GMs, ONGC and Savio Carvalho Director, Turbocam India Pvt Ltd Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Goa (ONGC).
“FiiREWork” at Don Bosco Fatorda is a 29 seater co-working space, providing start-ups with an ecosystem where they can work together, network, share expertise and build their businesses. A modern air-conditioned plug-and-play workspace, FiiREWork is affordable and offers office amenities such as a work desk, Wi-Fi connectivity, use of a meeting room, and more.
It helps alleviate the challenges that may arise from working from home or in temporary workspaces. With the added advantage of a collaborative work environment, access to industry experts, mentors, and guidance towards business goals, FiiREWork is the ideal option for start-up entrepreneurs.
FiiRE also inaugurated the “Design Centre” at the hands of HP Pradeep GM, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Goa (ONGC).
The Design Centre has been set up at FiiRE in collaboration with ONGC. It provides facilities such as “Virtual Reality (VR) Engagements” where the users can build and research products and use this VR technology to virtually construct and conceptualise their idea.
The Design Centre also has best-in-class processing equipment such as high-end laptops and other state-of-the-art IT assets. FiiRE Goa, along with its partners is confident that these additions to its portfolio will help propel FiiRE as a centre of excellence in the field of Startup Incubation, helping accelerate the booming entrepreneurship and innovation spirit in Goa.
