Fire destroys scrap at Nessai Industrial Estate

MARGAO

The Margao Fire and Emergency Service officials rushed to the Nessai Industrial Estate after receiving a call about a scrap material dump being on fire.

The officials were successful in extinguishing the fire. However, they were unable to confirm whether the dump was a part of a scrapyard or if it was an scrap dump.

Thick black smoke was seen billowing from the site of the fire.
