Various issues dominating the State were showcased at the Carnival float parade in the port town witnessed by thousands of people on Monday.
The floats featured troupes dancing to famous and popular tunes, with the crowds enjoying the foot-tapping music.
Many floats focused on issues like drug menace and deforestation, while there were also floats with lighter/humorous themes, much to the delight of the crowds.
Some floats depicted flowers and fruits, animals and other vibrant themes.
Authorities, including the police and traffic police had made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth flow of the float parade in Vasco City.
