Government High School, Morpirla celebrated National Science Day by holding a science exhibition. Headmistress, Morena Miranda paid floral tributes to C V Raman. She explained the importance of science day and urged the students to take science to the doorsteps of the villagers.
The students presented various innovative projects with different ideas and prizes were given to the winners.
The headmistress congratulated the students as two of their ideas “ a ceiling dust catcher with an umbrella and water soaking road pavements were selected for the Inspire Award State exhibition and received Rs 20,000 from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India for innovative ideas. Another science project on water won the state level Wipro award.
