They have been vocal in their criticism over inadequate facilities and services at the Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC), but this time Congress leaders expressed satisfaction at the health centre after interacting with patients.

“Patients were asked how they have been treated, attended and cared for by the hospital staff and if the facilities are good and as per the requirements. They told us that everything is good now. The said the doctors are regular, medicines are in stock, patients are given due attention, facilities and amenities are provided to their satisfaction,” informed Coutinho.

Added Ursila Costa, “Patients are being properly attended to by the nurse and doctor on duty. It was really nice to hear this and as such, we approached the CHC Health Officer Dr Tavares and as a token of appreciation, thanked him along with his entire team for their dedication and hard work that they have been doing for the community.”
