FORCE reiterates
its 'Act' demand

Forum for Rights of Children’s Education (FORCE) has reiterated its demand to translate the Cabinet decision on giving grants to English medium schools into an Act during the upcoming monsoon session of the State Legislative Assembly, failing which they have threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike.
At their general body meeting in Panaji today which was attended by nearly 800 parents, FORCE also resolved to lead a peaceful march to the State Legislative Assembly on the first day of the monsoon session on July 27.
“If our demands are not fulfilled by the government, I will go on an indefinite hunger strike from July 27 and parents will join in the chain hunger strike,\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" said FORCE Secretary Savio Lopes.
“We will also lead a peaceful morcha of nearly 100 parentsto the Assembly on July 27”, said Lopes.
