Four accused granted bail in Vasco surrogacy case.

Goa Children' Court on Wednesday granted bail to four accused in the Vasco minor rape case while Shoib Afridi was denied bail and will continue to remain in police custody.

Accused Tasleema, Shyam Kanoji, Motiram Gaonkar and Vandana Govekar were granted bail by Children's Court. Bail conditions for Shyam Kanoji are Rs 25,000 surety and report to police for 10 days. While the other three accused need to provide Rs 20,000 surety,and 5 days reporting to the police.

FDA seizes duplicate mava seized worth Rs 2 lakh from Colvale

In a raid at the house of one Ramlal at Ghotnecho wal , Colvale Bardez on Wednesday, FDA officials seized 1300 kg of duplicate Mava. The material was bought as barfi and was being used to make the duplicate Mava. It was being stored in 42 bags, weighing 30 kg each. While the authentic Mava costs around Rs 350/kg, the fake sweet was being sold at Rs 120/kg.
