Two cars, two scooters and a compound wall were damaged when a large tree came crashing down near the Delfino supermarket in Porvorim on Tuesday afternoon.
Fortunately, there were no injuries as nobody was present near the spot at the time of the incident.
Porvorim fire station incharge Damodar Pednekar and a team went to the site and noticed that two cars (GA-05-D-3100 and GA-08F-6768) and two scooters (GA-03A-02731 and GA-03A-9677) were damaged. The fire brigade later cleared clearing the fallen tree and is ascertaining the losses.
