Three two-wheelers and a car were damaged in a fire near Kavlekar Stores at Porvorim in the wee hours of Wednesday. This is the fourth such incident in the area.

According to reports, Porvorim Police received a call at 2.30 am stating that some vehicles were engulfed in flames near Goa Housing Board building. They rushed to the spot and alerted the Pilerne Fire Station. The total loss has been estimated at Rs 90,000. Police said some residents in the building suspected an unsound person may have committed the offence. PSI Vishwajeet Chodankar is investigating the case.
