Funds sought from all Canacona houses for Ram Temple in Ayodhya

The Canacona branch of the Ram Janambhoomi Temple Committee has decided to approach all houses, irrespective of caste and creed, for donations and contributions to build the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple at Ayodhya.

According to members of Ram Janambhoomi Temple Committee (Canacona branch), representatives will move house-to-house beginning Friday, seeking contributions to construct a temple at Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya.

Anil Kamat, Nanvnath Sawant and Shrikant Gaonkar, who are representatives of the Canacona committee, addressed a news conference and said the donation and contribution drive would be inaugurated from the Shri Mallikarjun Temple on Friday.

Donations ranging from Rs 10 onwards will be accepted and people contributing Rs 10, Rs 100 and Rs 1,000 will get donation coupons, while those contributing above Rs 1,000 will be issued receipts.
