“Who has been more vocal against the BJP on the floor of the House and off it for the last five years,” asked Sardessai while speaking to The Goan, adding, “We will never support BJP in government formation after the elections.”
He said Goa Forward with its motto of Goem and Goemkarponn was more secular than any party in the State.
“No one can question our secular credentials and we will never align with divisive forces in the country,” a belligerent former Fatorda MLA said.  Earlier, while addressing a public meeting of the Goa Forward in Assagao, he said the 2017 assembly election has a lot at stake and asked Goans to vote wisely.
“This election will decide whether Goenkarponn will remain. The election will decide whether coconut tree will be a tree or grass,” he said exhorting the electorate to give mandate to candidates of his party to protect Goa and its culture.
He said people of Siolim were lucky that “hand” symbol was not there in the constituency and so there won’t be confusion in their mind.
But he cautioned the voters of Siolim to refrain from casting their vote for an Independent candidate.
“Any vote for him is indirectly a victory of the BJP candidate and therefore scratch him out,” Sardessai said.
He also targeted the Aam Aadmi Party for trying to fool Goans by making lavish and false promises.
GFP, Siolim candidate, Vindo Palienkar, party spokesman, Milton Marques and Prashant Naik and others also spoke.

They thought that BJP will do something. But for the last five years the BJP has indulged in so much of corruption…
