Goa CM Pramod Sawant condemns attack on Hindu temple in Canada

In the wake of the recent Khalistani attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged Canadian Government to take immediate decisive action to ensure the safety and security of all communities in the country.

Sawant took on X to strongly condemn the temple attack. "The recent, targeted attack on the Hindu temple and its devotees is not only deeply concerning but also entirely unacceptable," he said.

Sawant said that such incidents represent a direct assault on the values of peace, respect, and unity that form the foundation of any civilized society.

" We call upon the Canadian Government to take immediate, decisive action to ensure the safety and security of all religious communities within its borders," the CM said. 

Several Hindu devotees were beaten and attacked with sticks on Saturday outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton by Khalistani extremists, who were seen carrying Khalistani flags.
