Goa MSME Adhiveshan 3.0 held at Lok Bhavan

Goa MSME Adhiveshan 3.0 was held at the Lok Bhavan, Goa, on Monday, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss growth opportunities for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The event was organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) in association with the Department of Industries, Trade and Commerce (DITC), Goa, and the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). It was conducted under the leadership of Goa State President Pallavi Salgaocar, General Secretary Mudit Agarwaal and Event Chair Arman Bankley.

Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, Road Transport and Highways, Harsh Malhotra, was the chief guest. RSS Seh Sarkaryawah and LUB Sampark Adhikari Dr Krishna Gopal, LUB National General Secretary Om Prakash Gupta and Goa Industries and Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho were also present.

The MSME Knowledge Series featured sessions on exports, use of artificial intelligence in business, new CSIR technologies for MSMEs, and government schemes such as LEAN and RAMP. A separate session was held on opportunities available through the GeM portal.

A study report titled Understanding Challenges of MSMEs in Goa, commissioned by LUB Goa, was released by Harsh Malhotra. The study was carried out by Yukti Insights LLP with support from DMC College and Research Centre.

Three entrepreneurs were felicitated during the event. Rajkumar Kamat received the MSME Leadership Award, Atul Pai Kane was named Best Male Entrepreneur, and Shashi Soni was awarded Best Female Entrepreneur.

Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Malhotra highlighted national initiatives to improve ease of doing business, while Mauvin Godinho assured continued government support to strengthen Goa’s MSME sector.
