Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said Goans will vote for BJP in the assembly elections, as the government has undertaken development in the entire State.
Speaking to reporters after filing his nomination papers before the Pernem deputy collector, Parsekar said he was getting good response in Mandrem constituency and he is confident of his victory.
Meanwhile, speaking to reporters after filing his nomination, Panchayat Minister and BJP's Pernem candidate Rajendra Arlekar said the MLAs in the past had failed to undertake any development in Pernem constituency.
“The BJP government gave special attention to developmental projects and unemployment and BJP's win is sure,” he added.
Chief Minister Parsekar filed his nomination papers before election officer Harish Adkonkar in the presence of Union Ayush Minister Shripad Naik, BJP State general secretary Sadanand Tanavade, Arambol ZP member Ramesh Shet Mandrekar, former ZP member Deepak Kalangutkar and others.
Arlekar and MGP Pernem candidate Babu Azgaonkar also filed their nomination papers.
