PANAJI: Goa’s Sadhvi Satish Sail has been crowned Miss India World 2026 at the 61st edition of Femina Miss India 2026, held yesterday at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar.

The grand finale, themed “Daughters of This Soil,” saw contestants from across the country compete, with Sadhvi emerging on top after a night of performances, interviews, and final rounds.

Rajnandini Pawar, Femina Miss India Maharashtra 2026, was named the first runner-up, while Dr Sree Advaita, Femina Miss India Union Territory 2026 from Jammu and Kashmir, secured the second runner-up position.

A model and entrepreneur from Goa, Sadhvi has walked multiple fashion shows and featured in campaigns. She also co-founded a company in the construction and development sector, balancing creative work with business ventures.

Reacting to her win, Sadhvi described the moment as surreal, saying, “Every contestant here is a winner. This experience has been about growth, friendship, and shared achievement.” She added that the journey and the connections built along the way were as meaningful as the title itself.

As Miss India World 2026, she will represent India at the Miss World 2027. Speaking about the responsibility ahead, she said she wants to represent her country with honesty, integrity, and compassion, while noting that this is just the beginning of a longer journey on global platforms.
