CURCHOREM: Parishioners of Our Lady of Miracles Church in Sanguem gathered in large numbers to attend Good Friday services in Sanguem town.
The day-long services included prayers and the rosary, a Way of the Cross, the solemn celebration of Good Friday services and a procession.
A life-sized statue of the crucified Jesus Christ was taken in a procession in Sanguem, before returning to the Sanguem church. The prayer services continued till late evening.
Good Friday services were also celebrated in other churches of Sanguem taluka, Curchorem town and Quepem town.
