Goods and cash worth Rs 27,000 were stolen from a mobile store in at Birla-Zuarinagar on Sunday.
According to Verna PSI Shridhar Kamat, Mohammad Jaffar Shaikh of Zuarinagar complained that unknown accused broke into his shop sometime between 6 pm on July 17 and 7.30 am on July 18.
Shaikh said the accused stole cash of 2,000 approximately and mobile phones (new and under repair) and other electronic items such as pen drives and memory cards, valued at about Rs 25,000. Approximately money and goods totalling to around Rs 27,000 have been stolen from his mobile store.
A case has been registered at Verna police station under Section 380 IPC and investigations are in progress.
