Govt announces bonus for workers but excludes many

The State government has announced non-productivity linked bonus (ad-hoc-bonus) for its employees ahead of Diwali but has excluded a large section of the Group B (non-gazetted) and Group C staff who draw monthly grade pay of Rs 4,600 and above. 

Employees of State-owned corporations and autonomous bodies will also be covered under the bonus scheme provided their emoluments pattern follows that of the government employees and no bonus scheme of their own is in operation.
