Govt eyeing infra development on PPP

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said emphasis is being laid to develop infrastructure on Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis for commercially viable projects.

In this direction, Sawant said the redevelopment of Brittona Maritime School as a Centre of Excellence is in progress.

“Besides, the tender process for the Development of a Truck Terminus at Dharbandora and Government Garage and Circuit House in Panaji is being initiated.”

“Tender for monetisation of underutilised Ponda Municipal Council Market and also the construction of Ponda Municipal Council Building is proposed to be floated shortly,” said Sawant.
