Conceding that the South Goa Administrator of Comunidade building is standing as an eyesore around the beautified Lohia Maidan, Margao MLA Digambar Kamat has said the day is not too far when the government will find a solution to the dilapidated Comunidade building.
While addressing the gathering at the inauguration of the Lohia Maidan beautification work on Monday, the Margao MLA publicly admitted that the dilapidated condition of the Comunidade building does not augur well at the historic Lohia Maidan, more so after the beautification of the Maidan.
He, however, sought to reassure the citizens that the government is seized of the matter and a solution to the Comunidade building is in the offing. “The government is working out a solution to the issue of Comunidade building. Hopefully, there will be a turnaround to the building in the near future,” Kamat said, indicating the eyesore will soon disappear.
The Goan had on Monday highlighted the sorry state of the South Goa Administrator of Comunidade building for want of upkeep and maintenance.
