Stating that 6.5 percent hike in power tariff was unfair recommended by the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, Cabinet Advisory Committee member and Urban Development Minister, Francisco D’Souza on Sunday said the State government will review the tariff .

The State government had approved a hike of 5 percent in the power tariff but JERC added another 1.5 percent leading to a total hike of 6.5 percent.
