Govt will allot jetty to MV San Domino casino in a week, HC told

PANAJI
The State Government has told the Bombay High Court at Goa that it will, within one week, allot a jetty to the casino vessel MV San Domino currently berthed in the River Mandovi while the vessel MV Lucky Seven is out for repairs.
Both the vessels are owned by Haryana-based businessman Gopal Kanda.
"Since the MV Lucky Seven is not in a condition to be considered and therefore now the petitioner on December 1, 2017, has made a fresh application for allotment of a jetty with respect to the Vessel M V San Domino," the Captain of Ports said in its affidavit before the State government.
"The Petitioner has applied for allotment of the jetty, which will be given to the petitioner, since casino licence, which was granted, was with respect to the vessel MV San Domino which is the subject matter of the present application," the CoP said.
"It is clear that the State government has decided to allot a jetty in respect of vessel MV San Domino. AG on instructions states that necessary orders will be issued to the Petitioner within one week. We accept this statement," the Division Bench of the HC observed.
