All India Congress Committee in-charge of Goa desk Dinesh Gundu Rao on Wednesday lashed out against the ongoing saga of misgovernance resulting in a high number of Covid deaths in Goa.

Taking to Twitter, He stated, “Criminal negligence in #Goa. CM @DrPramodPSawant & Health Minister @visrane are speaking in contradiction. What is the truth, Who is responsible? They’re playing with lives of the Goan people. Both of them should be sacked immediately.”

Rao also demanded to know the basis of the Health Minister's decision to move in for a prophylaxis treatment using Ivermectin for all Goans above 18 years of age.

“On what basis is the Health Minister @visrane recommending this drug? What is the medical research for its efficacy to help #COVID19 patients? Have clinical trials been conducted? It cannot be at his whims and fancy,” he said slamming the state government.
